Many have asked about my last name, Kovalchuk. It's from my mom, she's Ilya Kovalchuk's aunt, so yes, he is my cousin, actually.

Uh, I think I can bench press or lift more than you do, if you feel the need to boast about it. Don't start with me.

I have no idea what's officially my vocal range, but it's low, as quite a number of Russian women have.

Another bloke dying of love? Sorry, I've been engaged since I was 17, so nope, not interested.

Yes, I am a member of Mensa. So is my mom.

I don't have an official profession, but I'd consider myself musician first, mechanic second.

What red hair -oh, you mean, oh. They are hair extensions, my hair is so dark it would take too much to bleach and then dye it. My mom tried and it didn't work on her, so I won't even try.

They all call me captain because I was the captain of the hockey team we were in (sans Kath) while we were in our teens. Those years were probably the best of my life, I got to do what I truly loved. Not that I don't love music, I do, but hockey... for me it was like air.

 Well, the party went great, though I missed home a lot. I'm still on the maternity leave and I'm not returning to the band.

I don't know how the rest of the party night went, I'm not a party animal and I'm surprised I was first one to leave, but Thomas was babysitting a whole bunch of kids, not just our own two...

So, Q/A time.

Aww, you love me? Sorry to break it to ya, but I've been married for years and I have two children, there's no way I'd leave them, sorry. =/

Where I learned to play? At home, in Timaru and in University of Auckland. I started as a classical pianist.

 Um, my husband plays in Relica, also a keyboardist, Thomas Turner, you should know him if you listen to rock.

Um, no I don't model but I do cosplay. Most notably Lady Arwen and Tifa Lockhart. Also Selene, goddess of the Moon is one of my cosplays. I often wear the silver contacts.

Party pics! Slavy in spotlight, Q/A session

 Alright, since the pics are found, might as well give some rundown. Vic and I were asked to pose like there was no tomorrow. I guess it's not everyday that a heavy metal drummer comes outta the closet. Tho I never was in the closet in the first place.

I did get some emails concerning my hairstyle and overall style. Well, long story short, I kinda wanted something new and Vic was kind enough to style me over. I couldn't cut my hair in months, or dye it. I was have to keep my eyes closed while at the hairdresser and once I was out, she dragged my to a store, made sure the changing cubicle did have the mirrors turned away and then drowned me in clothes.
Not complaining tho, I kinda like this style.  You don't wanna see my bedhead in the morning, it's EVERYWHERE!

 Ok, these are taken by Mirka, I don't look so stiff in these. That was one huge xmas tree tho... No, I still can't hold my focus unless it's drumming. Or hockey.

As for the Anon8954, Nope, I don't have ADHD or ADD, I know a friend with one and she's all over the place.

 Aaaaand as FaradayMiss, I'm a brunette and this is first time bleaching my hair.

OliviaG asked how I learned to play, I learned to play thanks to Mirka, she and her mom know how to play drums, so they taught me. first single bass drum and then double bass. I love to hammer away. Louder the better.

Nope, I don't have tinnitus, which is a effing miracle, I have led a loud life.

Somebody, another anon, wanted to know when I left Austria. I moved to Finland around... 2002, first to Lappeenranta, where Mirka and her family lived. Holy crap it's hard to live in a family where only one speaks decent English. Awkward dinner times. Moved to my current drumtech's place to have some connection with adults too, plus they housed our guitartech at the time.

Horn is a shit tiny place, hated it.

Doll Awards warm-up gala 2015

We were invited to the Doll Awards! They are like the Academy Awards,but even cooler. Managed to get few snapshots! Though I still think I should NOT wear a dress...-Sera

Brought out my wedding gown version 2, truth to be told, I couldn't show my legs this time, the tattoo is still healing, so no pants and no short skirts either, it's in the horrible stage. -Empress
